This is a yummy recipe for a smoothie bowl that I have been loving for breakfast at the moment.
Ingredients
1 Frozen Banana
1/2 cup of frozen blueberries or raspberries
1 tsp of Natural Peanut Butter
1 tsp of cocoa powder
1 Serving of protein powder (optional)
Handful of Kale/Spinach
4 Ice cubes (optional)
Splash of your choice of milk (see note)
Optional topping
Chopped Banana
Shredded coconut
Nuts
Goji berries
Berries
Yoghurt
Granola

Add all the ingredients to a blender (if using bullet blender, add the kale/spinach in last so it doesn’t get stuck at the top and banana and berries at the top, this helps them blend more easily).
Add as much milk as your like to get your desired texture. I like mine quite thick so only add a little bit, around 2 Tbsp to begin with.
Pour into a bowl and top however you like. My favourite is granola, banana and coconut yoghurt.
The main thing with smoothies and smoothie bowls is these is so many different combinations so play around with it and find one that you love!
